After 36 caps for the Republic of Ireland, and a storied career in England, Conor Hourihane sat down with Eoin Sheahan and Nathan Murphy on The Football Show.

Hourihane, a native of Cork, explains why he is so keen to become a coach and where his ambitions lie. He cites his coaching influences as Steve Cooper, Paul Warne and Anthony Barry.

How do young coaches develop a certain philosophy? And how exactly can you implement. Hourihane also believes that the age demographic for head coaches these days is getting younger, and perhaps that could benefit him.
