For the past 13 years Britney Spears' finances and personal life have been controlled by her father and a team of individuals under a legal guardianship called a conservatorship.
It was set up in 2008. However after over a year of legal cases the singer was released from the conservatorship.
There was reaction from her Lawyer and Irish singers Jedward who were at the LA court for the decision.
