On September 5th people were shocked to learn that the Girls Aloud star - Sarah Harding – had died from breast Cancer at the age of 39.
In the wake of the tragic story – Newstalk Breakfast’s Ciara Kelly took to social media to show women how to examine their own breasts for possible signs of breast cancer and she did a full breast exam to show women how to examine themselves correctly.
The reaction was huge from the public not only in terms of the viral nature of the video but more important the personal impact it had on a number of people in a critical way. And Ciara Kelly joined Anton Savage this morning to share again the importance of self examining yourself for lumps. She also shared stories from women who had found cancerous lumps following her video.
