Schools reopened on Thursday of this week with widespread teacher shortages and student absences due to the Omicron variant.
Many pupils are still isolating as a result of the high incidence of Covid-19 and also because of the rules regarding close contacts of Covid cases.
The touchpoint of windows being open in classes is causing a lot of consternation as Ireland experiences colder than normal temperatures.
Minister for Education Norma Foley joined Anton this morning to discuss.
