19 children, two teachers, 200 mass shooting events in the US so far this year alone, and tragically, one more school massacre to add to that tally.

What was once a rare, shocking, event has now become all too familiar, with little sign of anything approaching popular consensus being reached.

So, when it comes to gun violence in the United States, how, if ever, will real, impactful change be brought about to prevent events like the ones we saw in Uvalde, Texas this week?
