Today is the day that vaccinations open to the 5-11 year old cohort amid some trepidation amongst parents who are worried for their children.
Dr Brian Higgins joined the show to discuss the parents who aren't necessarily in the anti-vaxxer category but are still hesitant about getting their kids vaccinated.
Higgins talked about the robustness of the vaccines available to the Irish public and how vaccines go through rigorous scrutiny before they are approved.
