April is Bowel Cancer Awareness month and in Ireland more than 2,700 men and women are diagnosed with the cancer annually.

Bowel, colon, rectal or colorectal cancer is the second deadliest cancer on our shores but early detection can lead to successful treatment.

Mr. Rob Hannon, Consultant in General, Colorectal and Laparoscopic Surgery at Beacon Hospital joined Ivan this evening to discuss the warning signs, the treatments and the screenings available in Ireland.
