On the Home Show New Year's Day Special this week with Sinead Ryan we're all about the New Beginnings and a Fresh Start.
With the start of 2022 it is the perfect opportunity to make changes in your life and also in your home. So what are the practical things you can do in your home to give you that head space and physical space to help you make 2022 the best year possible? Well 2 women who need little introduction, as we know and love them here on The Home Show - Mary Shannon and Francis Murphy of MnF Decluttering & Home Staging - joined Sinead this morning with their tips on decluttering your home.
One of the things that many people will do this year will be to look for a new home and one of the first things you will need to do is possibly sell your own home. In that case you may need the help of Sinead's guest who can help you make your home attractive to as many buyers as possible - Sarah Evers - Founder of Staging Your Home For Sale.ie
Everyone will have a Christmas tree that they'll all be taking down at some stage in the week. It got us thinking that there has to be some innovative things that you can do with the tree besides sending it to the shredder. So we reached out to our good friends at the Rediscovery Centre in Dublin and Roger Warburton the Programs Director at the Centre had some great inspiring creative ideas.
You know that we love to showcase the best of Irish design here on the Home Show. Well earlier this year Sinead came across some stunning ceramics and one particular item really grabbed her attention. It is called the ‘Mind-Full Mug’ and it comes from the ceramic artist Cora Cummins who joined the show.
Finally our resident architect Roisin Murphy was on hand to look at the must have trends for 2022 from paint to tiles. She also had our first #ObjectOfDesign for 2022 that celebrates an iconic Irish landmark.
