Volkswagen Ireland are proud to be platinum sponsors of the Dublin Pride Festival once again.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Dublin Pride Parade and March, and Volkswagen will be front and centre as the celebrations get underway.
To celebrate, we have teamed up with our official car partner, Volkswagen Ireland, to give you the chance to win a fabulous break for two at the 4-star Hard Rock Hotel, Dublin. The first parade in Dublin on June 27th, 1974, saw a handful of students gathering for what was the island of Ireland’s first-ever LGBTQ+ demonstration. And today the parade sees thousands of people joining to show their support.
This year’s parade will welcome a vintage Mark 1 Volkswagen Golf alongside the latest iteration of the iconic model. The exciting all-electric ID. Buzz will also feature in the parade.
This is the fourth year in a row that Volkswagen has partnered with Dublin Pride – and the company is encouraging people all around Ireland to get involved and join in “spreading love, equality, and inclusivity this Pride month”.
The 50th Anniversary Dublin Pride Parade and March takes place on Saturday, June 29th.
