Wigan Athletic completed a late deadline day swoop for Republic of Ireland midfielder Jamie McGrath.
The 25-year old was in the final six months of his contract at Scottish Premiership side St. Mirren, and it's believed he's cost the Latics a cut-price £100,000 (€120,000).
McGrath has signed a two-and-a-half year contract.
Wigan currently sit second in the English League One table, and their chief executive is former Dundalk CEO, Mal Brannigan.

McGrath had piqued the interest of other Scottish Premiership sides like Aberdeen and Hibernian, but Dons backed away from a potential deal earlier this month with manager Stephen Glass hinting that the ex-Dundalk man might not be up to the job.
"There is a pressure to be an Aberdeen player that is not for everybody," Glass said, when quizzed about the deal going cold.
According to Daily Telegraph journalist, Mike McGrath, Wigan were so keen to get the McGrath deal over the line that both sides met halfway in Roddy Collins' old stomping ground of Carlisle.
He'll now link up with Republic of Ireland teammates James McClean and Will Keane at the DW Stadium.
McGrath - along with fellow new signing Glen Rea - will be presented to his new fans ahead of Tuesday's game with Oxford United.
