A 73-year-old woman was one of over 350 people who have created a Guinness World Record for twerking.
"It was a wonderful experience," the woman told an interviewer in New York. "I went to buy sheets in Macy's and they let me in and I'm just dancing my life away here."
358 people gathered in Manhattan's Herald Square yesterday and twerked - a dance move in which the dancer shakes his or her hips up and down in a bouncing movement à la Miley Cyrus - for two minutes straight.
The dance was organised by the music channel Fuse and a musician from New Orleans known as Big Freedia.

Afterwards it was announced the group had achieved the record by meeting the minimum requirement of 250 people.
It is believed Miley Cyrus' performance at this year's MTV Video Music Awards led to the word "twerk" being added to the Oxford Dictionary just a few days later.
