Kilkenny and Galway renew their rivalry this afternoon when they go head to head in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 semi-final.
It is a repeat of last years All Ireland final which Kilkenny won after a replay but Galway beat the Liam McCarthy Cup holders earlier this season.
However Kilkenny will not have manager Brian Cody on the sidelines as he recovers from surgery.
Throw in at Semple Stadium is 3.45pm.
The curtain raiser in Thurles is the other semi-final between Tipperary and Dublin.
Tipp topped Division 1A while Dublin came up from the second tier with a narrow win over Limerick at the same venue a fortnight ago.
