Andy Keogh has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at not being named in the Irish squad for the World cup qualifiers against Sweden and Austria.
The 27-year-old Millwall striker tweeted "Not even in the provisional squad, gutted, oh well might get called in last minute! #no loyalty".
Keogh has scored two goals in 5 appearances for his club so far this season and played against Wales in a recent friendly.
Darron Gibson then tweeted Keogh asking if he had been told why he was not included but the Dubliner just said he did not know and had not heard from anyone.
He added:
Not moaning bout bein left out jus gutted, lot of quality in the squad, maybe after Oman and NY a txt or phone call wud of been courteous !!
