Aaron Ramsey opened scoring when he was first to the rebound from a well placed Mesut Ozil free kick.

Geoff Cameron showed composure and precise accuracy from distance when he hit back for Stoke on 25 minutes and made it 1-1.

Arsenal took just 10 minutes to go back in front, however. Per Mertesacker flicked on Ozil’s corner and the ball looped into the bottom right corner of the Stoke net.
