Arsenal have completed the signing of Martin Ødegaard on loan from Real Madrid until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old did his medical on Tuesday and Real confirmed on Wednesday that the loan deal was done.
A short statement from the Spanish champions read: "Real Madrid and Arsenal have agreed to loan the player Martin Ødegaard until the end of this season."

The Norweigan will be available for Arsenal's Premier League game against Manchester United on Saturday as the Gunners aim to maintain their winning run.
Mikel Arteta's side came from behind to beat Southampton 3-1 at St. Mary's on Tuesday night, a result that leaves them only five points off the Champions League places.
Arteta said: "It’s great that we’ve secured Martin to come to us until the end of the season. Martin is of course a player that we all know very well and although still young, he has been playing at the top level for a while.
"Martin will provide us with quality offensive options and we’re all excited to be integrating him into our plans between now and May."
Ødegaard scored seven goals in 36 appearances on loan at Real Sociedad last season but he has failed to become a regular under Zinedine Zidane.
Ødegaard moved to the La Liga giants in 2015 not long after turning 16 and will give Arteta another exciting option in attack to complement the likes of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe
He becomes Arsenal's second signing of the January window after the club secured the services of Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan on a loan deal until the end of the season.
