Arsenal have completed the signing of defender Gabriel Paulista from Villarreal.

The signing is for a fee reportedly in the region of £11M, and for what the club have described a long-term deal.

The Brazilian has been a regular in Villarreal's defence this season and covers an area in which Arsenal were short this season. 

Striker Joel Campbell's moved to the Spanish side on loan, but not before signing a new contract with the Premier League club.
