Following Celtics slip up last night Arsenal will want a good result in Istanbul when they face Fenerbache in the play-off round first leg.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain misses out for the Gunners with a knee injury while defenders Bacary Sagna, Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal should all be available.

The manager says he will wait until the late minute until deciding if Sagna and Gibbs will play.

Wenger is aware how much the game means and not just in a financial context "It is a consequence of what we tried to achieve last season and therefore, on the back of our defeat against Aston Villa, it's important as well to bounce back straight away.

"To be part of the top level - that is for us the most important thing. All the rest are the consequences of it. When you are a football player, you want to play at the top level and that's what the Champions League is about."
