Former 100 metre world record holder Asafa Powell has pulled out of the Athlone IT Grand Prix tonight.
The Jamaican sprinter suffered a groin injury during the warm-up before tonight's athletics meeting.
Powell was meant to be one of the main high-profile competitors at the event, racing in the Men's 60 metres.

His inclusion had been controversial, having tested positive for a banned substance in 2013.
However, he had an 18-month ban reduced to six months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport last year.
