Last Autumn, Newcastle United cult hero Faustino Asprilla launched a range of flavoured condoms - guava being the one he recommends - in his native Colombia.
And the retired striker, who famously scored a Champions League hat-trick for Newcastle against Barcelona in 1997, has ambitions to launch a special version of the condom range in the UK - but in the Toon Army's black and white club colours which would be quite the picture.
That's one of the insights Colombia-based football writer Carl Worswick shared with us on Team 33 this week about a figure whose eccentricity could often segue into brilliance as Barca found out - and as Argentina discovered in a 5-0 World Cup qualifier defeat to Colombia in 1993.
Worswick, who has written for the likes of World Soccer Magazine, The Blizzard and ESPN and also joined us on the show last year during the FIFA World Cup, has spent plenty of time with Asprilla on his ranch recently as part of a documentary that will be broadcast on British TV next year.
Police have finally found Tino Asprilla's £50,000 horse, Lucas, two weeks after the ex-player lent the beast to a friend who then got drunk.

The condom range wasn't the only post-retirement anecdote we heard about given that Asprilla post-football life is utterly bonkers.
From the extent of his love of horses and gun-toting brushes with the law, and the reputation he has among Colombians about how, er, well-endowed he is, Worswick shared many an enlightening tale.
Plus we also spoke about Asprilla's footballing legacy for club and country, as well his reaction when an opposition player said "f*** you" to him during his Newcastle debut.
