Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has denied that a deal has been agreed for the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

Reports suggest the Spanish club are close to sealing a world-record transfer for the Welsh forward.

Spurs haven't commented on claims that technical director Franco Baldini has been in Madrid to finalise the move but it's believed it will be announced in the next few days.
