Gareth Bale failed to show up for training today with Tottenham after a club-authorised break in Spain.
The Welsh star is said to be "furious and frustrated" with Tottenham's handling of his proposed move to Real Madrid, that's according to Sky Sports sources.
The deal was expected to be completed last week but there has been an unexplained delay.
Last night David Moyes said "No" when asked if they had bid for him but then immediately said "they are always interested in the best players" .
Spanish news paper Le Marca are reporting that he could be announced as a Real player as soon as this afternoon.
Meanwhile the Daily Express are reporting that Newcastle will bid for Ireland and Wigan midfielder James Mc Carthy if Yohan Cabaye leaves for Arsenal.
