Mario Balotelli has apologised to his Liverpool team mates and supporters after picking up a one-match ban for a breach of social media rules.

The Italian striker will miss the Reds' clash with Arsenal on Sunday, and has been fined £25,000 by the FA for a controversial Instagram post.

Balotelli has been ordered to attend an education programme.
