You might have noticed a lot of fresh references to The Wire - aka 'The Greatest Television Show Ever Made' (c) - on Twitter and the like over the last few days. The renewed interest is down to HBO in the US airing a marathon of the five season show, and also finally releasing all episodes in HD.
To celebrate the return of the the epic saga, Baltimore Sun crime reporter Justin Fenton has been sharing some pictures of the most iconic locations from the show.
From 'Marlo's spot' to a comparison of the fake and real Baltimore Sun newsrooms, the series of photos will likely have fans of the series tempted to pull out the DVDs and start a marathon all of their own.
