Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has had to undergo a wrist operation after suffering a fracture in his final game on loan at Juventus.

It is the nadir of a poor year for the Denmark striker. He made just eight league appearances and failed to score a single goal in an injury-ravaged campaign.
