Bernard Brogan might have been the star man for Dublin yesterday but he reserved plenty of praise for his All Ireland-winning team-mates.
The full forward picked up a personal haul of 2-3 against Mayo but acknowleged the stellar service supplied by his colleagues.
Speaking to Newstalk's Oisin Langan after the final whistle, he said: "When you're inside there and the team is pumping ball into you, it's nice to give them a bit of a return and get some scores because they're working hard out the field. There's loads of lads out there who can score but I'm delighted to do my bit today."
He also talked Oisin through the first goal, flicking in a high ball from Paul Flynn whilst under pressure.
He said: "I hadn't had much ball. That was the first one that was kicked into me and I just wanted to get something on it. Ger's a tough man to mark, he's a big lad so I just wanted to stand off him and get something on it. Thank God, because they can end up anywhere!"
