Tyler Blackett has signed a new deal with Manchester United.

The 20-year-old defender has put pen to paper just a day after rumours that United were going to sell him.

Blackett was given his Man United debut by manager Louis van Gaal at the start of this season, in the 2-1 defeat to Swansea on the opening day of the campaign.

"Tyler has great potential and I believe he is at the right club to continue his development and progression to become a great defender," said Van Gaal.
