FIFA President Sepp Blatter has advised players against walking off the pitch if they are subjected to racist abuse.
It follows AC Milan's decision to refuse to play on in a friendly against Pro Patria this week when former Tottenham and Portsmouth player Kevin Prince Boateng was targetted by fans.
The Italian football federation has opened an inquiry into the incident.
