Ireland head coach Andy Farrell says Bono's visit to the Irish rugby squad will inspire everyone ahead of Sunday's Six Nations showdown with England.
Ireland bid for the triple crown against the auld enemy at Twickenham.
Farrell says the U2 legend wowed everyone in the camp, but not by singing:
"Not too much singing actually. Well first of all...blown away really, that he gave his time up to come over to see us.
We invited him in and he was top of the wish list and we got the top which was unbelievable really."
It was a special meeting, with Bono serving up some food to Sexton in camp!
Farrell was grateful that the singer took some time out of his busy schedule:
"He's quite a private person really, but he put a lot of time and effort in being able to answer the questions from the floor in a great manner that we got something out of.
He's obviously a proud Irishman, so he talked a bit about Irishness."
Paul O'Connell has also been in camp to lend his words of advice as the national team bid for three wins in a row in this year's tournament.
