Fabio Borini will miss the rest of the season after dislocating his shoulder in the 5 - 0 win over Swansea.

The Italy cap had come on as a substitute with 10 minutes to go when he landed awkwardly and had to be taken off immediately.

Brendan Rodgers has admitted that Borini could miss the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old had only returned to first team action in early January after suffering a broken foot.
