Double European Cross Country Champion Fionnuala Britton has finished 14th at the World Cross Country Championships in Poland.

It equals her best ever finish on the world level and the Irish team were the top European team in 5th place overall.

Kenya's Emily Chebet won the race in a time of 24 minutes and 24 seconds.
