Alan Brogan’s return to action with Dublin has been pushed back by a few weeks, but he is expected to make his return to competitive inter-county action during the Leinster Championship.
Dublin manager Jim Gavin says Alan Brogan’s comeback has been set back and initial plans to have him return to the side during the league season had to be revised.
“We just reviewed his training timeline and his timeline to return to the field of play to perform in a competitive game and we just reset that again a few weeks back. We thought he might make the National League, it didn’t work out to be that way and it’s now moved back to the championship. Certainly do expect to see Alan somewhere in the Leinster championship,” Gavin said.
The former footballer of the year has missed the entire league campaiagn due to a groin injury but he has returned to training.
In other good news for Dubs fans Ciaran Kilkenny and Eoghan O'Gara are also back in training.
