Tottenham have completed the signing of Etienne Capoue from Toulouse.

The French club claim the midfielder has signed a four year contract with the Premier League side.

Capoue has seven full international caps for France, and was named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year in 2012.

Michael Dawson is confident he can make an impact as he told Sky Sports News: 

Capoue also drew interest from Tottenham's Top Four rivals Arsenal who bid unsuccessfully for the midfielder in January. Cardiff were also believed to have joined the scramble for his signature.
