West Brom have signed Charlie Austin from Southampton for a fee believed to be worth around €4.3 million (£4 million).
The uncapped Englishman has joined the Baggies after a three-year spell on the south coast with the Saints. During his time with Ralph Hasenhuttl's outfit, he made 66 appearances in the Premier League, scoring just 15 goals.

However, Austin's last spell in the Championship was fruitful with Queens Park Rangers he hit the back of the net 10 times in 16 games. Overall in the second tier of English football, Austin has scored 70 goals in 132 games.

He is the Championship sides seventh signing of the season following the acquisitions of Filip Krovinović, Kenneth Zahore, Semi Ajayi, Darnell Furlong, Romaine Sawyers, and Grady Diangana.
West Brom's first home game of the Championship season takes place on Saturday when they welcome Millwall to the Hawthorns after an opening day 2-1 win away to Martin O'Neill's ex-club Nottingham Forest.
