Chelsea have just confirmed the signing of former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o.

The Cameroon international has agreed a 1-year contract after moving on a free transfer from Russian club Anzhi. 

The move for Eto'o signals the end of Chelsea's pursuit of Wayne Rooney who now looks set to remain at Manchester United.
