West Ham hammered another nail into Rafa Benitez' Chelsea as they came from a goal down to win 3 - 1.

The Blues started the game well and took a deserved lead with a fine finish from Juan Mata after 13 minutes.

But as the match elapsed, West Ham's increased pressure told and they got an equalizer through Chelsea old boy Carlton Cole who climbed above Branislav Ivanovic to head home a Matt Jarvis cross.

Chelsea could have been back in front straight after the equalizer but Mata saw his free-kick cannon back off the post.

And the Hammers took full advantage as Mohamed Diame blasted a fierce shot past Petr Cech with five minutes left.

Sam Allardyce's team made sure of the result in injury time as Modibo Maiga as he reacted first after Cech saved a Matthew Taylor strike.

The win lifts West Ham to seventh, while Chelsea keep hold of third temporarily.
