Christine Cavanaugh, the actress who voiced Babe the pig in Babe and Chuckie Finster in animated series Rugrats, has died aged 51. She passed away on 22nd December.
Over the course of her career, Cavanaugh voiced a number of iconic and well-known characters, including the likes of Dexter in Dexter's Laboratory and Gosalyn Mallard in Darkwing Duck.
Cavanaugh retired from voice acting in 2001.
In her obituary, published in the LA Times, the authors write "Christine has touched many lives, some we know and others we do not... Her imagination, humor and intelligence were evident to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. It was of no surprise when she was able to share her talents with the world.
"Many know of her from the roles she played, but in each role there was a part of her showing through that the ones who truly knew her could see," the obituary adds.
