Cian O'Neill's nomadic coaching career has taken him to Galway.
The Kildare native has joined Pádraic Joyce's backroom team with the Tribesmen's footballers.
O'Neill had fulfilled a similar role under Ronan McCarthy with the Cork footballers for the past two years.
Joyce is entering the third year of his tenure in charge in Galway. They lost the 2020 Connacht final by a point, but fell 0-6 short of Mayo in July.
