Ciara Everard has finished well off the pace in her Heat of the women's 800 metres in Rio.
After an injury-interrupted year, the UCD runner finished in last place in the heat, almost eight seconds off the heat leader.
She finished in a time of 2:07.91.

Everard was ranked 35th overall after the first six heats in the event.
Great Britain's Lynsey Sharp won Everard's heat in a time of 2:00.83.
