The role of observer on All-Ireland final day is still a strange one for Brian Cody, but he’s refusing to pick a winner between Clare and Cork today. Speaking with Bobby Kerr on Newstalk’s Down to Business, Cody said he firmly believes the game will be an entirely different prospect to the first final.

“It’s going to turn on various things and people will wonder what’s the big clash, where’s the important clash is going to be, but it’s going to be all over the place. Players who maybe who were quiet the last day will step up to the mark. You know, I look forward to the game. I’ll certainly be watching the game. Who knows where it’s going to go,” Cody said.

Cork make one change to their team, with Cian McCarthy replacing Jamie Coughlan at centre-forward. Clare remain unchanged.
