Another SBG product has signed on the UFC's dotted line, as Conor McGregor's sparring partner Charlie Ward had his first fight with the promotion confirmed late on Saturday night.
Ward, who holds a record of 3-1, is expected to face Randy Brown at Fight Night 102 in Albany, New York, on December 9th in a Welterweight bout.
Brown, whose record stands at 8-1, currently holds two wins and one loss in the promotion, and is coming off the back of a third round stoppage of Erick Montano in September.
Unbeaten as an amateur fighter, Ward suffered his only loss as a professional during his debut at the hands of former BAMMA middleweight champ John Phillips.
Having put that loss behind him, he enters the UFC with a three-fight win streak that includes the now infamous victory over Portuguese fighter Joao Carvalho.
Following the bout, Carvalho's condition worsened and led to his untimely death.
The fight is the latest bout added to the card which is currently headlined heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Shamil Abdurakhimovby, and also features rising star Aljamain Sterling and perennial Bantamweight title contender Raphael Assuncao.
