Cork City have confirmed that Liam Bossin has been discharged from hospital.
The goalkeeper suffered a head-injury in City's win against Finn Harps last night.
Manager Neale Fenn says Bossin will continue to be assessed in the coming days by their medical team:
“Liam got a bang to the head but I am pleased to say that he was discharged from hospital overnight," he told Cork City's website of Bossin's recovery.
"I’ve had a chat with him this morning and he is in good form. We will work with our medical team and assess him over the next few days, but he is doing well.”
Cork have also thanked the medical staff who assisted their 'keeper last night and those who have been in contact to send their best wishes with his recovery.
