Dublin forward Cormac Costello has been cleared to play in their All Ireland football semi-final with Cavan.
The Whitehall Colmcille man was shown a red card by Derek O’Mahoney in last weekend's Leinster final thrashing of Meath at Croke Park.
"It was strange,” Dublin manager Dessie Farrell said after the game.
"I thought it was something to do with a tackle or competition for a ball, on the far sideline, but it doesn’t appear to be.
“It appears to be something that was said or some words between Cormac and officials.
“We are obviously going to look into that and see."
If the red card was upheld, it would have meant that Costello would be unavailable for Saturday week's meeting with Cavan at Headquarters.
However, The Irish Independent report that he had the red card rescinded by the GAA's Central Hearings Committee (CHC) on Thursday night.
