Cycling Ireland is set to reconsider its nomination of Pat McQuaid for a third time as the president of the International Cycling Union.
McQuaid had been under increasing pressure over the Lance Armstrong doping case but had seen his nomination ratified by Cycling Ireland.
However they will now reconsider the matter at a special EGM after a meeting of the organization's board yesterday.
