Perhaps Darron Gibson found a penny on his way home from training. But more than likely the out-of-favour Ireland midfielder's evident joy on Twitter coincides with the news that Giovanni Trapattoni has left the job.

Gibson has refused to make himself available for Ireland after not playing at Euro 2012 and Trap's departure could mean a return to the international fold for the Everton man.
But it hasn't been all good news this week. He has not played for his club yet this season due to injury and may miss out for his club again this weekend as he has not recovered sufficiently from the knee injury he has been carrying.
