A new documentary is set to offer viewers a window into the odd and interesting world of Irish bodybuilding, and the story of an old Dublin city centre gym.

Deadlift” is the second documentary from Patrick Cooney, whose first film “Raj in the Rain” attracted critical acclaim
Cooney and Paul Byrne – of the National Amateur Bodybuilding Association – were in studio with Pat on Friday morning to talk about the film and the bodybuilding world in Ireland.

Deadlift premieres at 4pm on Sunday October 6th at the IFI
