The Aidan O'Brien trained Declaration Of War won today's big race of the afternoon at the York Ebor Festival in the Juddmonte International Stakes.
The 4-year-old colt, with Joseph O'Brien on-board, bounced back from a run of three consecutive defeats to beat fellow Irish raider, Trading Leather from Jim Bolger's stable by just over a length.
The Irish one-two was a major upset as the expected battle between Al Kazeem and Toronado failed to materialise.
Meanwhile, there is also racing this evening at Bellewstown.
The opening race there was the EBF Auction Maiden, which was won by 11/8 favourite Bleeding Hearts for trainer Mick Halford.
