Amid reports that he is to retire from football, Didier Drogba has taken to Twitter to reveal he has not retired from the game.

The Ivorian joined Montreal Impact in the summer and still has another season to run on his contract with the Canadian MLS side.

Drogba joined Guus Hiddink in the stands at Stamford Bridge last month after the Dutch manager took charge of Chelsea. Reports in British newspapers claim that Drogba is to retire and join Chelsea as an assistant to Hiddink.

The 37-year-old remains popular with Chelsea fans after he spent two spells with the London club. He scored the winning goal in the penalty shoot-out as Chelsea defeated Bayern Munich to win the Champions League in 2012. He finished his second spell with the club with a Premier League winners medal last summer.
