Rafael Nadal's eight year winning streak in the Monte Carlo Masters tennis is over after Novak Djokovic beat him 6-2, 7-6 in today's final.
It ends a run of 46 straight victories for the Spaniard in the principality.
Djokovic had previously lost two finals to Nadal on the Monaco clay but an impressive performance saw him win his 14th Masters title as the French Open edges closer.
