Eoghan O’Gara’s 22^nd Championship appearance was probably his most eventful, after being introduced in the 15^th minute for the injured Paul Mannion, the 27-year-old pulled his hamstring later on but had to stay on the field as the Dubs full compliment of replacements had been used up. 

Before that he had chipped in with 2 points.

Not everyone was convinced by the Tempelogue Synge Street club player since he made his Championship debut in 2010 but he’s more then proved his worth with some memorable goals (5 in total) and some big contributions.

As the celebration continued I caught up with O’Gara in the eye of the partying storm and asked him how he’s developed as a player and what was on his mind when he was introduced on Sunday:
