Leinster and Munster face very different tasks this weekend, with Joe Schmidt’s men going into their Amlin Challenge Cup semi-final against Biarritz knowing anything less than a win is unacceptable, while Rob Penney’s Munster side travel to Montpellier to face Clermont Auvergne in a task being framed as one of the most hopeless in the history of Heineken Cup knock out stage rugby.
Ex-Leinster and Toulouse forward Aiden McCullen spoke with Newstalk’s Oisin Langan today about the weekend’s rugby, and what hope, if any, Munster can have. Aiden explains why even the once famed Clermont arrogance is no longer looking like a weak spot to exploit, as a team scarred by several semi-final defeats come into Saturday’s game with some valuable lessons learned from last year’s defeat at this stage to Leinster.
